The internet may have been the most revolutionary invention in this modern time. It has not just allowed us to connect with other people but also as a marketplace.

In this marketplace though, you need to have significant traffic going to your site for your business to be profitable. That means that you need people to visit your website every now and then.

The real effective way of generating serious traffic to your site is by way of releasing relevant articles. It’s because when people use the internet, they often do so to retrieve information and they get these information from articles.

Although the solution sounds simple, article writing can be a difficult task for some people.

The first step that you have to do when writing articles is to do research. Especially if you have limited knowledge on the topic, you really have to do research in order for you to write sensible articles.

Then there’s the actual writing of the article. We all know that it takes an affinity towards written communication for one to be able to come up with good articles.

In order to circumvent all those things, internet marketers purchase different article writing programs. However, these programs often produce articles that sound so ridiculous.

These articles are better known as simple keywords strung together to reach an appropriate length even if they sound grammatically wrong and incoherent.

But if you search for these programs, you’ll find that there are actually some that do work like instant article wizard.

All you need to do is to enter the keywords and instant article wizard will find related texts that will help you complete an article form beginning to end.

The reason for why posting sensible articles is still the best way of generating traffic is because even if these articles have long been in the internet, they can still generate traffic. Everyday, these internet marketers submit articles in different directories and blogs.

I really hope you enjoyed this article. To learn about Lipo 6 then visit my helpful review site. And visit my friends Extenze page.

Everything in life is based on a hypothesis that was researched and either confirmed to work wholly or partially, even at times that doesn’t work at all. Affiliate Marketing is not left out of this phenomenon. It is generally believed that affiliate marketing has three models. These models can either be used individually or can be combined depending on the user’s experience.

As an affiliate marketer, you know there are many marketing choices at your disposal. But most times it’s not so easy to determine the differences between them or even the one that best suit your situation. Ability, costs associated with each effort, as well as your financial status are the basic factors that needs to be considered in making good decision on the model to use.

The three models (PPC, SEO and Content Models) are unique in their own respect, thus they can be used independent of one another and one can still get a good result afterwards. This posting will give you a brief overview of the three main types of affiliate models — PPC, natural search/SEO, and article marketing — and let you know what is required for each. You’ll also get a quick checklist of what you’ll need to do if you select a particular model.

Pay per click, or PPC, is a way to advertise your product or service in the search engines themselves. The preferred search engines of most marketers are Google, Yahoo! and MSN. Pay-per-click networks like Google Adwords, or Yahoo Search Marketing allow Internet marketers to buy ad space within their search engines.

Pay-per-click (PPC) marketing is the most sustainable online business model as you have full control over your ads, landing pages, and audience. You only pay for a click when a customer that you have specifically targeted clicks on your ads. With PPC, you bid on keywords related to your business, and pay for advertising only when a user clicks on your ad. The marketer who bids the highest will get their ads displayed closer to the top of the search engine results.

PPC is sometimes referred to as pay for performance advertising, because you pay only when somebody clicks on your ad and visits your site. PPC ads appear on top and to the right of the natural search listings and are designated as “Sponsored Links.”

With PPC, you have almost complete control over when and where your ads are shown. Your ads are triggered only when somebody types in a search query that matches the keywords you’re bidding on. You can turn your ads on or off depending on the time of day. You can also target your ads to run only in certain countries, states, and cities.

However, it’s really NOT as easy as just bidding the highest to get your ad displayed at the top. Your ad position is also determined by your maximum cost per click (CPC) multiplied by your click-through-rate in relation to your competitors. Remember that the search engines get paid only when somebody actually clicks on your ad. It doesn’t matter if you’re bidding $10.00 and your competitors are bidding $0.10. If nobody clicks on your $10 ad, nobody gets paid.
That’s why you can’t buy your way to the top — you have to earn it by bidding smartly, and writing ads that entice searchers to click and find out more about your product.

According to Evelyn Grazini ; PPC is good for you if you:
- Like to work with huge amounts of keyword information.
- Are willing to invest the time needed to do daily research and
updates to your accounts.
- Have more money than time and are willing to spend money to
make money.
- Like working with statistics.
- Like analyzing (and re-analyzing) results.
- Know how to write small classified ads that work.
- Have an advertising budget of at least $100 per month, per
campaign.

PPC is an advanced form of traffic generation which involves investing your money to create awareness for your website or product you are marketing. It requires the proper understanding of the niche that you are promoting to, understanding what keywords can drive focused traffic to your offer, knowing how to pick a good merchant/product that has high converting potential, how to write a compelling PPC ad to increase click through, how to optimize your own landing page to get a decent quality score, how to ensure your page copy delivers on your ad promise, How to design your landing page to not only accomplish the above and send clicks to the merchant, but look good and build trust, how to maximize your return on investment (ad spend for traffic) with the use of opt ins and email follow-ups, when to know to pull the plug on an under PPC performing campaign, among other factors.

PPC is the expert’s stuff and should be avoided by newbie because the risks of losing your money with PPC are very high as a new marketer. The more inexperienced you are on PPC, the greater the chances of losing your money.

The benefit of article marketing over PPC is time. The length of time your ads will stay published depends on how much you are spending, this factor also affects how much sales you make on the product you are promoting. On the other hand you can be making sales from your articles for the rest of your life because article marketing transcends the time/space factor. It requires little or no expertise to get things going. If your articles are good but are not converting, all you need to do is to adjust, test, ping, get it stumbled upon until things started working. All you have to spend is your time and not your money.

Article marketing is easier than anyone can imagine, you don’t need to sweat to get quality articles to publish on your site or blog. The simplest way to do this is to register with any of the article directory, get relevant articles and get it published on your site with the author’s bio included. You can also write it by yourself or get it outsourced.
Getting articles that are not only quality but also unique has been made easier with the development of a software (RAPID WRITER) by two known affiliate marketers (Kyle and Carson) who are rated among the best in the industry.

The most interesting thing about these guys is that they allow the use of this tools/software free of charge. So, your worry as an article marketer or bum marketer is laid to rest with the RAPID WRITER

I was crawling my favourite sites on net when I come across this post by potpie; Jennifer is a member of Wealthy Affiliate University and the author of the one of the best step-by-step guide to affiliate cash – One Week Marketing; I thought I should share it here with my readers.

10 Things I’ve Learned About Internet Marketing

1. Internet Marketing/Affiliate Marketing is mainly a process of “self-education”. While there are WONDERFUL resources online (ie, WA), it is still ultimately up to YOU to learn and apply your knowledge. There is no test – no real certification – that says “pass” or “fail”. We determine our own success…. and we determine our own failure. Fear of failure AND fear of success can be the biggest obstacles in this business.

2. One is never enough. When using free methods to make money online, one is never enough. If you find a keyword, don’t just write ONE article. Make a lens, make a Hub Page, make a blog post, write unique articles for various article directories. Don’t just stick your toe in the swimming pool of a market, do a great big ol belly flop and SOAK the market.

3. Learn how to find what you need online. Those that are successful in internet marketing are also REALLY good researchers. Learn how to make Google your friend. Learn how to find what you need. In school we could simply raise our hand and ask a question. Online, you are ultimately in charge of your own destiny. Embrace that.

4. People hate “hype” – but… it still causes an emotional response to buy. This one drives me crazy and I see MYSELF doing it too. We all claim we hate hype and flashy sales pages…but we are drawn to them, aren’t we? Emotional triggers cause sales the majority of the time. If you ARE that “trigger”, you make sales. The secret is not the keyword… the secret is the trigger.

5. PPC is NOT a Beginners Sport. My apologies to those that may disagree, but I do not think anyone new to this business should START with PPC. It is tricky… it can be expensive…it is more than simple math and deep pockets. I am SO thankful that I took the time to learn how to find, obtain, and convert organic (free) traffic before I even touched PPC. Once upon a time, the deepest pockets won when using AdWords advertising. This is no longer true. Learn the basics first.

6. Failure is a state of mind. In my opinion, the only way you can “fail” at all this is if you never put anything online. There is a phrase I love – “Ready! Fire! Aim!” – and it describes me to a tee. Pick something then DO IT…and you can tweak it later. But if you never DO anything, you will NEVER make sales online. Stop standing in your own way and take a chance.

7. Shiny Things Dull Your Senses. How many times a DAY are you distracted by something “shiny”? You know, a new released “must have” system…. a fancy and expensive keyword tool…. some ebook that is “guaranteed” to make you money fast and easy? Distractions and money pits are everywhere online. Learn to protect yourself from them. All these things do is dull your focus.

8. Stop being your own worst critic. I simply can NOT believe how hard folks are on themselves! You are learning something new. It is a whole new world in here AND this new world is constantly changing. The internet is no longer a big, fancy sales brochure… it is more like a living, breathing thing. Relax and allow yourself to first adjust to the climate…and then allow yourself to learn the language. In my life, I have YET to hear someone say, “I was going to college for a 4-year degree, but I quit because I didn’t get that degree in 6 months!”. Do yourself a favor – 1) Write your expectations of yourself and of internet marketing on paper 2) Be SURE those expectations are realistic. If those expectations are NOT realistic, change them. Then – be your own best friend… be your biggest fan. Stop condemning yourself for what you DON’T know and for what you HAVEN’T achieved, and start being proud of yourself for each thing you DO learn and you DO achieve.

9. There is only ONE way to stop the frustration of the learning curve. The only way to stop it is to STOP LEARNING. I’ve been doing this for some time now. For all sakes and purposes, I have been pretty successful with the things I’ve done so far. However, I want to continue to grow and try new things. With each new thing comes a new learning curve. It is the reality of being a business owner… it is the reality of being human. Even tho I put my fist thru my monitor three times in the past 24 hours, I still am proud that I finally LEARNED and ACCOMPLISHED the task at hand. At one time I only knew my abc’s and videos on MTV…now I know some about php, too. Bless my heart….lol

10. Changing your life IS scary. You are taking brave steps to change your life. You aren’t thinking about it, you aren’t complaining about it, you aren’t planning it…. you are DOING it. This is bold, and courageous, and admirable. You could be watching TV right now… or sleeping…or on the phone with a friend complaining about your life, but you’re not. You are a brave and courageous person to be right here, right now, reading this rambling from me. Take a moment to thank yourself for having the guts to even TRY and do this. You deserve that respect and appreciation from YOURSELF.

Be kind to yourself. Keep moving FORWARD. And appreciate each and every learning curve you encounter.

Ok, done rambling :D

Introduction To PPC

Pay-per-click networks like Google Adwords, or Yahoo Search Marketing allow Internet marketers to buy ad space within their search engines. Pay-per-click (PPC) marketing is the most sustainable online business model as you have full control over your ads, landing pages, and audience. You only pay for a click when a customer that you have specifically targeted clicks on your ad.

Pay-Per-Click Advertising is one of the most reliable ways to make money online. Once setup correctly, you can allow your PPC Campaigns to continually drive qualified traffic to your websites. The key to being successful in PPC advertising is to make sure that your expenses are less than your revenue.

It really is just simple math.  Your goal is to spend less in advertising costs (click charges), then  you earn.  Your earnings could be through affiliate programs, CPA programs, lead programs or through your own product.

Setting Up Your PPC Account

The first thing that you need to do is visit Google Adwords and create an account.

Google Adwords is where you will begin your PPC advertising campaigns. Although at this point you do not have a product or website chosen, you can still sign up for your Adwords account so that when the time comes to start sending traffic to your websites or landing pages, you can do so without having to sign up for an account first.

When you sign up, you will be asked some questions, including what currency and language you want to use. At this point you will also be asked to create your first campaign, but you don’t have a product to promote yet so what do you do? You set up a “Bogus” campaign. You can enter anything that you want with the intention of deleting this first campaign once you have successfully signed up. You will be asked for a display and destination URL, but again, you don’t have a website so just enter any website that you can think of.

Try “www.affiliatetips.surecashinflow.com”. You won’t be using this campaign, so any URL will do. You will also be asked to enter some keywords. Just enter one keyword, for example, “wealthy affiliate,” and set your Maximum Cost per Click at $0.05. When asked to enter your daily budget just enter $1.00. At this point, you will be asked to sign in using your e-mail address. After setting up your sign-in details you’ll be ready to sign in for the first time.

Again, I recommend signing-up for your Adwords account before you do anything else.

Google Adwords (74% market share)

There are also other PPC Search Engines that you can utilize to drive high quality traffic to your websites.  The other “Top Two” are Yahoo & Bing (formerly MSN).

Yahoo Search Marketing (16% market share)
Microsoft Adcenter (6% market share)

Yahoo and Bing bring in approximately 22% of all searches online, so their search volume is only a third of what Google’s market share is, however this traffic is high quality and will convert.  If you are looking to expand your campaigns, these are the PPC engines you should consider.

For further reading and step by step guide on PPC Marketing, you should try and lay your hand on the best e-book in the industry (Beating adwords). You can however get it as a bonus by signing up through this link

It is true that affiliate marketing does not require so much investment to make money; in fact there are almost “free ways” to get this done. I use the word “almost free” because your internet connection and electricity (at least you pay for these); even your time (when quantified) cannot be free.

It amazed me when I see hungry vendors telling you buy this and that in other to learn free ways to make money as an affiliate marketer. Let me be frank with you, if you are really interested in making a living online, you will need to spend some dough; though minimal compare to other industry. In fact there is no other industry that requires so low investment to make so much ROI as affiliate marketing.

I will be virtual here by not telling you what I think you need but what I know that works.

Basically you will need these three things:

1.     A reliable hosting company that works on low budget.

One of the instrument needed to succeed as an affiliate marketer is a low cost, effective and reliable hosting. I use HOSTGATOR and always recommend it without any reservation. Many people like me are on hostgator for a lot of reason; among which are COST effectiveness; unlimited website can be hosted on one account (you can have as many sub-domains as you deem fit). For example for less than $8 dollars a month you can have 50, 100… websites. Another reason why Hostagtor is the toast of all is their customer service relation; they do not only attend to your problems, they do it for you. In fact, I’ve never been disappointed. One fantastic thing about hostgator is that you can even get an account for 1cent. Click here for detail.

2.     A domain name

Domain name is another need of an affiliate marketer. $1 dollar domain is ideal not only for newbie but for anybody using the internet, Godaddy.com offers you one of the cheapest domains on the internet.

3.    A blog/website

The third thing that you will need after the above two is a blog or website to market your product. Blogs comes handy for affiliate marketing because of the simplicity involved in making one. Blogger.com and wordpress.com are the commonly and most efficient ones around today. Though I use to recommend wordpress for anybody because it has a sort of romance with search engine, more so it offers the opportunity of auto-run a blog with its numerous free plug-ins that make promotion easier. If you need a wordpress blog set up for you.

Before we get into the nitty-gritty details of how blogging affects the affiliate marketing effort it is necessary that to understand what these two terminologies entail. This is especially for the sake of those who are still green in such matters.

Blogging is the action of using a blog otherwise known as a web log. As the latter name suggests blogs are journal-like online forums where people post entries which are then sequentially ordered. Many blogs are dedicated to particular topic categories though there are some on which any topic can be discussed.

Affiliate marketing involves the online promotion of the goods and services produced by given business. A business that owns a website needs to have people traffic who can then be convinced to buy. The affiliate marketing effort is done by individuals on behalf of the business and these persons are termed to be ‘affiliates’. Affiliates use a combination of techniques to push the promotion agenda. Some of these techniques are the use of web links, search engine optimization, and through networks. Affiliates receive compensation from the business as per the traffic they have directed to the website.

Blogs have steadily gained much popularity and both affiliate marketers and web developers have been quick to take advantage of this fact. Using blogs as forums for advertisement and promotion is a trend that affiliates are now embracing in addition to the others mentioned previously. Web developers have made things better by introducing online blog software that facilitates more convenient access to businesses via the affiliates. Thanks to this software, ‘quack’ affiliates whose intentions are to defraud and scam can now be blocked. This has greatly enhanced the credibility of affiliate marketing.

Blogging has contributed in a large way to the success of affiliate marketing as a means of online promotion. Through the use of keywords search engines are more capable of leading interested people to the relevant websites. Unlike spamming which is frowned upon blogging is not as offensive.

A popular blog is visited by very many people in a short time span and by so doing a product or service is marketed to quite a big audience. With an audience drawn from all over the globe many businesses have experienced an upsurge in customer volume and of course bottom-lines have drastically improved.

Affiliate marketing on blogs makes use of keywords to direct traffic. Videos and photos are some of the additional techniques that are used to capture the attention of prospective clients.
